grapes A grape, cluster of grapes. σταφυλή, -ῆς, ἡ [in LXX for עֵנָב;] a bunch of grapes: Mt 7:16, Lk 6:44, Re 14:18. " σ. is properly the ripe grape-cluster as opp. to ὄμφαξ, cf.
