The numbers follow fifteen events, from Jesus' entry into Jerusalem to His ascension from Bethany. Some places are known: the Temple, the Mount of Olives, Bethany. Others are placed by tradition or best guess, because the Bible does not mark them: the upper room, the high priest's house, Golgotha. Jesus cursed the fig tree on the way from Bethany, not in Bethany. The map's Akeldama is the King James Bible's Aceldama (Acts 1:19).
