Find your way around.
Every chapter of the Bible has its own page. This page shows you how to find a chapter and use each part of it.
On the first page, tap Old Testament or New Testament.
Tap a book. Its chapter numbers open under it.
Tap a number. A book with only one chapter opens as soon as you tap it.
On the left of every chapter page, tap CHAPTER to open a list of every chapter in that book. Tap a number to go there.
The verse numbers sit down the left side and stay on screen. Tap one to jump to that verse. On a small screen, they sit at the top instead.
Each verse is in a blue box, in English. The English is the American Standard Version, printed in 1901. It is shown without punctuation marks.
Under the verse is the line Word By Word, In Hebrew Order (Greek Order in the New Testament). Each word has its own card, in the order it was written. Swipe sideways to see the next one. The bar under the cards shows where you are.
A long meaning sits in a box with a scroll bar beside it. Slide the box up to read the rest.
To learn what each part of a card means, see How to Read the Word Cards.
This is a real example from Acts 9:1, with Match on and “Saul” tapped. Saul is in verses 1, 8, 11, 22 and 24.
